Oil Highlight of the Week: Marjoram

The oil highlight of the week goes to marjoram! Marjoram is a calming and powerful essential oil that can be used in many ways. It has a warming feel that soothes your muscles and helps your mind and body relax. Marjoram is the perfect oil to use after exercise to ease stiff joints and relieve tired muscles. Marjoram promotes healthy cardiovascular and nervous systems and can be used to soothe your skin.


Mix 4-5 drops of marjoram with 4-5 drops of frankincense into an empty capsule and ingest for a good night’s rest, to calm the heart and to soften achy muscles.


Not recommended for long term use at this dosage. Reduce drops to 2-3 if taking on a regular basis or apply 2-3 drops topically instead. Sweet Marjoram is non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing. It is not recommended during pregnancy.
